Valorant callout maps1/24/2024 ![]() ![]() What separates Bind from the other maps is the inclusion of teleporters that can instantly transfer. There are also three sets of rope ascenders located in. Bind is one of three maps currently available during the Valorant Closed Beta. Be careful of enemies that try to push the wall and enemies that might be pushed up B Long or Yellow. Split has two bomb sites and a middle area with multiple routes of entry. This wall will block off the angles that watches the Mid to B cross, so your team can freely push into B. With an Operator in your hand, you can kill all their hopes of planting the spike on A Site. Use this Cosmic Divide to split the map so your team can push B through Mid by going under Tube. As a defender if you have control at A Elbow, the attackers are forced to come into your viewpoint. As an attack gaining control over this part of the map should be the first thing in your mind following the spike being planted. The Patch 5.0 update will go live on June 22, 2022, bringing Pearl to the games map pool alongside the Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 battle pass. Resulting in their movements being quite predictable. This will bring a new experience to the players. Gaining control over this part of the map will result in the defenders having to play from the back of the site. A Link is the part of A Site which is the ideal choke point for defenders. In our opinion this is the most important callout there is on Sunset. Ideally for post plant lineups, it helps with confusing the opponent about where you could peek out from. If you’re an attacker, gaining control over A Elbow can be quite crucial in the post plant. Using a Sage wall there are quite a lot of off angles that can be utilized to get kills on enemies present at A Site. If a defender is able to block this path, it will result in the attackers being funneled into the other path to enter the site. This pathway is quite helpful in getting into the back of the site and gaining map control. We’re talking about A Elbow, which is situated on the left hand side of A Site. We now come to the callout related to Sunset’s unique layout - and why it’s turned a lot of heads. ![]() Mid Top is also the default point to see either an Omen or Astra smoke being placed. It is set in Los Angeles and features several LA cultural staples, including food trucks. (Picture: Riot Games) Valorant Episode 7 Act 2 will introduce the 10th map, Sunset, into the game. It’s vital to be cautious here, as any rotations from B Site to A Site would be visible from this part of the map. Sunset is the newest map added to Valorant in Episode 7 Act 2, and here are the callouts you should know, as well as their locations. It provides a direct viewpoint into Mid Bottom as well as from Mid Tiles. Mid Top is going to be the spot on the map where you’ll see the most amount of Operator kills. Mid TopĬontinuing on the trend of focusing on the middle of the map, another critical callout on the map is Mid Top. If there’s a defender holding an angle from Mid Top to Mid Bottom, a player in Mid Tiles could easily distract them or even kill them with ease. Ideally for attackers this is another angle to hold to check Mid Top. By being aggressive and focusing on the backstab, one can stop them in their tracks simply by being present here. Gaining control of this part of the map stops a lot of the typical defender rotations. This part of the map acts as a link for defenders to go into A Site through the middle. You can see all these tweaks in the thread posted by Valorant below.Talking about how crucial the middle of the map is, the next callout is Mid Tiles, situated on the left hand side of Mid Courtyard. Many of these adjustments are changes to the environment decor, either with more containers appearing at one point or another, as is the case in the middle of the map, or the appearance of some boxes in the inner B-tube, as well as a window on the outside. These changes are not that radical, although they will change some of the internal strategies you may have. Through some images recently published by the Riot Games team on their Twitter account, we can see some of the changes that are coming to different points of the map, both in the B-Site and in the middle of the map, there are some adjustments, although there is no change for the Icebox A-Site.
